It started with the sleepless nights where a full-time working mom had to get up several times to nurse the newborn, to bring the scrubed pump pieces to the sanitizer machine, then later on to assemble the parts, etc. This exhausting routine quickly spiraled into a severe physical crisis, leaving the mother’s hands crippled by a medical condition so severe that even prescribed steroids only triggered agonizing flare-ups. Forced to return to work while physically broken, her experience exposed a critical gap in support for new mothers facing health and financial emergencies. Our project was born to bridge this gap. We provide essential aid and resource networks to prevent mothers from returning to the workforce too soon. By protecting their right to heal, we ensure new mothers can preserve their physical health, long-term wellness, and professional identity.
As a newly established organization, our greatest accomplishment is laying the legal and structural foundation to make this vital care a reality. We are proud to have officially secured our IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and assembled a dedicated founding Board of Directors. We have also finalized the strategic design of our core crisis-intervention framework, mapping out how we will deliver direct health and financial aid to mothers in need.
Right now, our primary focus is securing foundational funding and activating our digital infrastructure. While we need initial financial support to launch our direct-aid operations, we are incredibly proud to have built a compliant, secure, and ready-to-act framework. We are fully poised to start supporting new mothers and protecting them from premature returns to work the moment our funding is secured.
